**St. Charles County Offers Free Property Fraud Alert Service**
St. Charles County, Missouri, has launched a free property fraud alert service available through the Recorder of Deeds office. Residents can sign up online to protect themselves from potential property fraud.
To enroll, participants need to provide their name and preferred contact method, which can be either email, text, or phone call. Once registered, individuals will receive alerts if any suspicious activity is detected involving their property.
While this service does not prevent fraud from occurring, it serves as an important early warning system. This enables property owners to take quick action if they notice any fraudulent activities linked to their name.
The signup process is quick and takes only a few minutes. For assistance, individuals can call 800-728-3858. More information is available at sccmo.org/FraudAlert.
