The St. Charles Fire Department is hosting a Halloween Open House on October 19th from 10 AM to 2 PM at Fire Station #4, located at 3201 Boschertown Road.

The event will feature free cookie decorating provided by Sugar & Slice Bakery, as well as a variety of activities suitable for families. Attendees can expect fire equipment displays, a helicopter, and a children's transport ambulance. There will also be a mounted police unit, pumpkin painting, a bounce house, and several vendors, including Kona Ice.

Food will be provided at no cost, including hot dogs, chips, and drinks. A live fire demonstration is scheduled for noon, followed by an extrication display. Families are encouraged to have their children dress up in Halloween costumes for the occasion.
