The St. Charles County Regional SWAT Team is a collaborative unit consisting of members from various law enforcement agencies in St. Charles County. It operates under the St. Charles County Police Department's direction and is available to assist in critical incidents within the county and to other law enforcement agencies upon request. According to Police Chief Kurt Frisz, "When the citizens need help they call the police, and when the police need help, they call in SWAT."
